Glasshammer is a specialist model making company which has been servicing the television, advertising and film industry, offering a wide range of skills including model making, set construction, animatronics and mechanical rigs.
In 1985 Justin began his apprenticeship working as a model maker in London. Later establishing himself as a partner. Here he gained invaluable experience working for major international advertising agencies and production companies until establishing Glasshammer in 1993.
In 2000 Glasshammer moved its workshop to New Zealand from London. Since then Glasshammer have been busy working on a number of internationally acclaimed art installations, television series, feature films and commercials. Glasshammer prides itself on maintaining very high standards of craftsmanship by utilising changing technologies to deliver quality services.
After successfully completing my course at Falmouth school of art in 1985, I ventured to London to begin working for one of the cities most creative model making companies. I gained invaluable knowledge from my apprenticeship and later became a partner in the company. In 1993 I formed Glasshammer where I have since enjoyed being a leading part of a very talented and passionately artistic team working together for the same goals.
